Perched on a high hillock at an altitude of 4,000 meters, the temple attracts thousands of pilgrims every year despite its challenging accessibility. The cable car will transform the journey for visitors and pilgrims, making it easier, generating local employment, and boosting tourism in the region. Revered as a manifestation of Goddess Pathivara Mata, the temple is also an important spiritual site for indigenous communities.
